  • How is the product shipped?

    In an insulated cooler, frozen, with gel packs. All packages are shipped via UPS or Fed-Ex Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air.

  • How long can I store my tamales?

    Keep frozen, up to one year.

  • What is the shipping schedule?

    All packages will ship within 2-3 business days via UPS or Fed Ex. We do NOT ship on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays or Holidays due to ensure freshness. Perishables can NOT be delivered on Sat, Sun, Mon, or Holidays.

  • How can I cook my tamales?

    STOVE TOP - You will need a sauce pan and a steam basket or anything to create steam. - Add water just below the level of the basket. Remove tamales from plastic bag. Place tamales in basket standing up, with the open end facing up. (Do not lay them on their side). - Bring water to a boil. Once boiling, cover pan with lid and turn down to medium-low heat. - If cooking from thawed state, steam tamales for 10-15 minutes. - If cooking from frozen state, steam tamales for 20-30 minutes. - Tamales are ready to eat when the internal temperature reaches 165° - Remove corn husk and enjoy! MICROWAVE - Remove from plastic bag. Separate, wrap induvial in wet/damp paper towel. - For six tamales, heat 1 ½-2 minutes. Add one minute if frozen. (Microwaves vary) - Tamales are ready to eat when the internal temperature reaches 165° - Remove corn husk and enjoy!
